Demi fans known as the Lovatics took to the polls for the Peoples Choice Awards. Voting the young singer to win Favorite Pop Artist! This was a huge win for Lovato. Not only was the award solely based on the voice of her fans but she won over nominees such as Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Beyonce, and Rihanna. The singer tweeted in excitement:
